Job Description

Join our dedicated team at LSF Central Coast Adult Services (CCAS), where we strive to enhance the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. We serve clients across Lompoc, Santa Maria, and San Luis Obispo, helping them maximize their independence and maintain a high quality of life. We are currently seeking compassionate Personal Attendants to provide personal care services to our clients. This role is integral to our mission and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals and assist clients with eating
  • Provide assistance with bathing and toileting, if needed
  • Perform light cleaning duties as necessary
  • Support clients with general physical activity
  • Monitor and assist with daily medication intake
  • Help clients with wheelchair and other mobility needs
  • Identify natural and community supports and assist clients in utilizing them
  • Support clients in developing and maintaining relationships
  • Assist in finding a roommate and housing, when needed
  • Submit accurate, complete, and legible billing and payroll documents in a timely manner
  • Adhere to approved monthly schedule and complete authorized service hours
  • Provide on-call assistance to clients in the event of an illness or emergency, when needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • CNA's or CNA experience is welcomed
