Job Description
Why This Role is Different You’ve designed apps people
love — not just use. You know what makes someone open your app every morning without thinking, how to keep them coming back, and how to integrate monetization without killing the magic. Maybe you’ve helped build an app for millions of users, or perhaps you’ve taken a small product from launch to industry buzz. Either way, you’re the type of designer who thrives when paired with top-notch developers and product managers to create
world-class mobile and web experiences .
Now, imagine channeling that skill into a product that not only engages but actually improves lives. We’re a fast-growing
pharmacy software company building the next generation of consumer mobile apps — tools that connect patients with their pharmacies, boost medication adherence, and deliver a personalized experience that’s engaging, intuitive, and ad-supported. Healthcare experience is a plus, but what we really want is your
design talent, curiosity, and ability to craft addictively usable products .
Job Summary As the UI/UX Designer, you’ll own the end-to-end design process for mobile-first applications, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to create elegant, high-engagement user flows. The role blends creative freedom with data-driven decision-making, ensuring designs are both beautiful and effective. Requires 5–7+ years of UX/UI experience, a strong portfolio of live, shipped consumer apps, expertise with tools like Figma or Sketch, and a passion for crafting addictively usable products.
What You’ll Do - Own the end-to-end UI/UX process for mobile-first consumer applications — from sketches and prototypes to pixel-perfect designs ready for development.
- Partner daily with developers and product managers to translate complex requirements into elegant, easy-to-use interfaces.
- Design high-engagement flows that keep users active, happy, and loyal while integrating targeted ad placements in a way that feels natural and valuable.
- Use analytics, user testing, and A/B experiments to iterate rapidly and back design decisions with data.
- Balance brand identity with innovation — ensuring a consistent yet evolving design language across iOS, Android, and web.
- Drive creative problem-solving sessions, whiteboard jams, and design sprints with cross-functional teams.
- You’ll shape apps that people actually want to use, not just “have” to use.
- You’ll have creative freedom to push ideas forward while working with a team that values design deeply.
- You’ll see your work go live — fast — and be part of a product that impacts millions.
- Competitive salary, bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.
Education/Training - Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Required Work Experience/Skills - 5–7+ years of UX/UI experience with a strong focus on consumer mobile applications.
- A portfolio of live, shipped apps with measurable user engagement — bonus points if they’ve been featured, ranked, or have significant active user bases.
- Experience designing ad-supported experiences that drive revenue without degrading UX.
- Mastery of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.).
- Collaborative mindset — you love pairing with engineers, asking “what if,” and solving problems together.
- Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards and a focus on ease of use.
- Comfort with data-driven design and willingness to iterate fast.
Preferred Work Experience/Skills - Designing in healthcare, wellness, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure UX best practices.
- Experience using gamification or loyalty features to boost retention.
Discretionary Judgment - Uses independent judgment and discretion based upon the employee’s experience in the position and knowledge of the products, equipment, and services.
- Uses good judgment and possesses ethical work values.
Physical Demands, Working Conditions, and General Employment Guidelines - Moderate stress levels may be experienced in job performance.
- Position is performed in a general office environment, home office, or approved remote workspace where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.
Equipment - Daily use of Microsoft Teams (phone), computer, printer, and other routine office equipment.
- Internet access
Safety To Self And Others - Little responsibility for the safety of others. Job is performed in an office setting where there are no hazardous materials or equipment.
Working Conditions/Hazards - Position is performed in an open office environment or approved remote work location.
Work Location - RedSail Office - Hybrid in Irving, TX — but we’re not counting badge swipes. You’ll come in when collaboration matters most (brainstorms, whiteboarding, deep dev/design integration), and work remotely when you need focus time to bring your designs to life.
