The Registered Nurse (RN) will work on a 23-bed Medical-Surgical unit, providing patient care on night shifts. The role involves working every other weekend and requires proficiency in PICC line management and IV insertion. The RN will float within scope to meet facility needs and block scheduling may be accommodated.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage PICC lines and initiate IVs.
- Float to other units within scope of practice as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Cerner system.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or in the application process with ETA.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN.
- BLS certification.
- NIH certification.
- Experience with PICC line management.
- Experience with starting IVs.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Previous charge nurse experience.
- Cerner EMR experience.
Special Considerations:
- Will work every other weekend.
- May float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Open to block scheduling (connect with manager to discuss schedule request).
- RTO restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Scheduling:
- Night shifts, 3x12s, with an 1845 start time.
- Every other weekend required.
- Block scheduling may be accommodated.
