The Machine Operator is responsible for successful operation of the finishing production of the parts on the production floor.

SHIFT: The schedule is Monday - Friday: 1st 6:00am -2:30pm. Weekends off.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations.
• Cleans parts using a variety of techniques required to meet customer specifications
• Deburrs, polishes and identify parts
• Mount parts on revolving spindle or chuck and hold or move tools such as a file, abrasive stone or cloth against work piece
• Use drill presses, notchers and sanders
• Clean interior surfaces of holes in tubes
• Develop, monitor, and maintain input reports, production reports
• Check quality at start of shift and ensure quality of all products throughout shift.
• Must be able to use measuring tools to meet specifications
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Package product and assemble kits for shipping

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Up to six months related experience or a combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee must: Be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds; Regularly required to use hands and stand for longs periods of time.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.72 per hour.
