Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary:

At Prosolar Florida, we believe in empowering homeowners to take control of their energy through clean, reliable solar solutions. As a Customer Success Consultant, you’ll be the trusted guide for our customers from their first installation follow-up through long-term system performance. You’ll ensure every homeowner feels confident, supported, and satisfied throughout their solar journey.

This role combines relationship management, problem-solving, and education ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in great service, and wants to make a real difference in the renewable energy space..

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Essential Duties, Functions, and Core Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers after installation, ensuring they fully understand their system and feel supported.

  • Proactively check in with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns promptly.

  • Collaborate with our installation, service, and sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Educate homeowners about their solar system’s performance, warranties, monitoring tools, and maintenance.

  • Track customer feedback and suggest process improvements to enhance overall service quality.

  • Build trust-based relationships that lead to referrals and long-term loyalty.

  • Identify opportunities for customers to expand their solar solutions (e.g., battery storage, EV charging).

  • Other duties as assigned, in alignment with business operations.

Requirements

Education, Qualification, and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Extremely professional on the phone and via text. Fast and accurate typer. 

  • Can spell very well and learn "our brand and voice" quickly.

  • Experience in Solar Energy preferred

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to excel at details, multi‐tasking, and working under pressure.

Requirements/ Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills and the Ability to multitask

  • Ability to establish rapport, build relationships and loyalty with external and internal customers and coworkers, and remain tactful when communicating

  • Excellent interpersonal and computer skills, have outstanding listening and attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette, professional and courteous disposition, and be persuasive and results-oriented.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to excel at details, multi‐tasking, and working under pressure

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.

  • Proficiency in using software, CRM, etc.

  • Must be able to pass a background, credit check, and drug screen

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment or travels via vehicle

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to ambulate, sit and/or stand in various intervals throughout the work shift

  • May occasionally lift and or carry up to 20 lbs.

  • Use of a computer, phone, copier, and other office equipment in the course of a day

  • While performing the duties of this job, occasionally be required to use their hands to handle, touch, and use tools, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, talk, hear, and ambulate during the course of employment

  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Employee may be required to travel for business purposes

Benefits Package available after 60 days of employment. However, some items are subject to meeting eligibility.
