Description: Job Description: This position is responsible for overseeing the finance operations and provides strategic guidance to ensure financial success in the company. Possess a strong background in accounting (including cost accounting experience). Oversees the Human Relations practices. Create processes and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements: - Responsible for the organizational financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage the Accounting department and all tasks, projects, workflows, and assignments to ensure service, quality, accuracy are met.
- Oversee A/R, A/P, and payroll operations.
- Develop, manage, implement, and enforce Accounting/Financial policies and procedures including establishing and driving KPI’s.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit required financial statements, budgets, and financial reports to regulatory agencies and management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Provide financial insights and projections to support strategic decision-making and planning.
- Utilize cost accounting principles to track, analyze, and optimize expenses related to production, operations, and other business activities.
- Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with departments to review cost data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost reduction strategies.
- Work with department heads to create and monitor budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of process improvement initiatives, strategic business initiatives, and special projects.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance management and development for department staff.
- Cash handling to include bank deposits.
- Oversee and coordinate employee benefit program, vendors, and Human Resource compliance reporting.
- Maintain personnel records, workers compensation records, accident, and OSHA logs.
- Adheres to HIPPA regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Onboarding of new employees and human relations contact for employee related issues, including adherence to the company handbook
Requirements: Qualifications/Skills: - Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years’ experience in Accounting
- A minimum of five years in a supervisory role
- Experience with NetSuite
- Experience in Accounting practices
- Experience with HR related practices
- Strong to expert level understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and auditing
- Efficient time management skills
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Ability to build grow and develop individuals and a team
- Solid organization and leadership skills
