The Hilton Garden Inn is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team.

• Supports the accounting function at the hotel, including the accounts payable/accounts receivable processes by ensuring that billing, invoices, and credit card statements are handled according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that deposits balance and all money is accounted for. Supplies money for all department banks and tills. Issuing banks and change requests.
• Bill and collect all revenue owed to the hotel in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare daily reports.
• Assist with customer billing and credit card issues including research or obtaining information regarding accounts, cash transactions, or bank accounts.
• May also be involved in other accounting-related functions as assigned.
• Experience within a hotel environment and with Hilton systems a plus, including OnQ and Delphi. (Front Desk, Night Audit).
• Sound communication skills.
• Interacts with internal and external customers in a positive, professional, and accommodating manner.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift a reasonable weight up to 20 pounds and is able to work on weekends when required.
